Maddy's Kidney Cancer Fund

Bright and cheerful, seven year old Maddy fell at school on August 21, 2019. That lead to the discovery of a Wilms tumor on her right kidney. She had surgery two days later to remove the cancer, right kidney and undergoing chemo treatment one week later. Maddy went through 5 radiation sessions and 31 weeks of chemotherapy. During the spring of 2020 she was cleared of cancer.

Unfortunately on a follow up scan in December, it showed new anaplastic Wilms cells in her lungs. She immediately started chemo again. After two rounds the cancer has grown. Currently, her doctors are speaking with experts to determine what chemo to try next.
