I’m raising funds for my dear friend Renae’s family. Their brave little girl, Maddyn, will be facing open-heart surgery due to VSD (ventricular septal defect), a form of congenital heart disease (CHD).

This unexpected tragedy has placed so much emotional uncertainty, but also financial hardship. Many weeks of work will have to be taken off to care for Maddyn as she recovers. In addition, there have been unexpected costs arise which have made things even more uncertain.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers to help ease the burden. Funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, travel costs, time away from work, and the many unexpected costs that come with a long hospital stay and recovery process.
