After an amazing semester in Uganda learning more about photojournalism, orphan prevention, and the worldwide fight for justice, I feel 100% confident that the Lord is leading me to pursue photojournalism in missions and as a career. As I was praying about my next steps in order to prepare for this, he orchestrated something amazing and allowed me to meet someone running a 9 month long YWAM Discipleship Training School for photojournalism in Alesund, Norway.
After praying about it and getting almost instant confirmation, I applied a few days later. I came home from Uganda, readjusted a little, and found out I was accepted to the school! It begins September 14th, and I will be spending the next few months preparing for what I'm sure will be an amazing season of growth both spiritually and creatively.
The school involves both a lecture phase and an outreach phase, where I'll spend two months in a different country doing ministry and using what I've learned from the school to bring a voice to injustice through media.

Having people around me that support my dreams and my callings has been the biggest honor and privilege as I've grown up, learned, and pursued what it is I believe the Lord is calling me to do; to tell the story of what He is doing throughout the nations.
