Hello, friends and family!
As most of you know, I am attending High Tech High School and am currently a Junior. Every year my school hosts a month long internship for its Juniors to travel, explore, and learn. I currently have the opportunity to work with the Innovation Unit of London from May 24- June 21, creating (and revising) school curriculums for educators interested in integrating project-based learning into their schools. Along with this, I would gain further knowledge and insight as to what real life work experience is like. I’m extremely passionate about making this internship happen, not only for the ability to visit London but also for a number of doors this will open up for me in the future. With the ability to reference this experience in future resumes and college applications, I’ll be taking one step in the right direction in achieving my goal of going to a good college.
With that being said, I am responsible for funding my trip (plane ticket, room and board, food, and public transportation). I am excited to be starting my job at Einstein Bagels, but being that this internship is in 2 months I am extremely pressed on time (and money), which is why I have created this site. My hope is that my dream of interning with the Innovation Unit will become a reality with the help of my family and friends. Thank you to all of you who are willing to support me in this process and help me, I love and appreciate all of you more than I can put into words.
