MADDOX - TV Series Pilot

After stand-up comedian Brandon Michael Maddox catches his girlfriend cheating, Brandon finds himself figuring out the dating scene, navigating dating apps and one-night stands. All while following a passion for stand-up comedy in New York.

My name is Brandon Michael Maddox. I started acting and stand-up comedy when I was 15. My journey started when I went to see Michael Che from ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and he brought me on stage and made me do 5 minutes of unscripted stand-up. Ever since that moment, I’ve had this passion project, MADDOX, I’ve been writing. I have been extremely lucky to have worked on HBO Max and Showtime, among others. I am the writer, star, and executive producer for this project.

To fully create this project, we need your help raising the proper funding. Our budget will cover the production costs of this Pilot script of Maddox. We are asking for $1500 to cover equipment rentals, crafty, transportation, location, and post-production costs. The goal is to get this show picked up by a larger company, in order to continue producing the entire season.

Sara Lavino as Amy

Sara Lavino is a junior at Montclair State University majoring in Theatre Studies. Originally from Rome, Italy, she now lives in Princeton, New Jersey. She has a passion for acting and hopes to make it her career one day.

Nick Najarian as Jason

Nick Najarian is an up-and-coming actor based in New Jersey. He has starred in a variety of short films and will be making his feature debut very soon. He is 20 years old.

Dominic Pereira is a Television and Digital Media Major with a concentration in Television Production. He has a passion for creating and helping others illustrate their vision for video content during production and post-production aspects.

Ryan Torrens is a Montclair State University filmmaking graduate. Having shot and lit many of his own short films, he is extremely excited to work as a gaffer to make something that looks and feels amazing.
