Maddocs Australia IberCup Journey to Portugal

Hi Everyone,

My name is Maddoc Davidson, I'm 11 years old and live in Mandurah. I am so excited to announce I have been selected to represent Australia for the IberCup Select U12 squad in Portugal this Winter.

I have always loved football and only dreamed that one day I would have an opportunity like this.

I began with futsal at 5yrs old, then went on to be a part of the Newcastle Jets Academy Program, then having moved here to WA began playing for Mandurah City FC.

I have since undertaken technical coaching from the Soccer De Brazil Academy whilst playing winter season comp for Kwinana United FC. I trialled for the IberCup Select WA Team in August 2024 and was selected to represent Western Australia which was AMAZING!!

However, I recently recieved the great news I had been awarded a position on the Australian U12 Ibercup Select Australian Squad.

This journey will begin on the 28th of June with a 3 day training camp with Real Madrid at their training Facility in Spain and then moves to Lisbon, Portugal for the IberCup Select Tournament until the 7th of July.

Any contributions will help & will go towards our trip from June 28th - 7th July
