Hello, my name is Edric and I'm trying to raise money for my girlfriend, Maddie, to help with some out-of-pocket medical expenses. Due to the ongoing process of immigration, she's still not eligible for Medicaid/Medicare, and I can't currently add her to my insurance, so we have to pay for everything ourselves. She's got a lot of ongoing concerns with her brain and spine that our local doctors can't figure out, so they are referring us to places like Cleveland Clinic and Mayo since they feel they can't really do anything more for her.

Update: We've recently moved in hopes of getting her better care, but most everything has gotten in the way of this. Everything we researched leading to this move was either misleading or outright untrue, and now we're struggling to stay here, but we can't afford to move back either. I can't get a job yet and while she is finally able to get assistance, it's not enough for month to month living, on top of still needing to take care of what is now both our medical needs.

I don't know how long it'll be before things finally get on track, so any help would go a long way for us.
