Maddie's Urgent Brain & Spine Care

Hello, my name is Edric and I'm trying to raise money for my girlfriend, Maddie, to help with some out-of-pocket medical expenses. Due to the ongoing process of immigration, she's still not eligible for Medicaid/Medicare, and I can't currently add her to my insurance, so we have to pay for everything ourselves. She's got a lot of ongoing concerns with her brain and spine that our local doctors can't figure out, so they are referring us to places like Cleveland Clinic and Mayo since they feel they can't really do anything more for her.

But on top of the actual appointments themselves, travel and lodging are also expenses that we are trying to cover all on our own. Our last trip was around $1000 just to get there, stay in a small hotel, and come back. That's before actually seeing any doctors. So the hope for the money we can raise is to mostly cover the appointments themselves, but also any indirect costs that may arise. This is trying to cover the immediate expenses for already scheduled appointments, but anything extra will always be appreciated as it will likely be multiple trips and appointments.

In addition, we have a friend who can't contribute financially at the moment but can offer her time as a professional photographer, offering a free shoot to anyone who donates over $150 and is local to Omaha and the surrounding area.
