Help Maddie's Fight Against Brain Cancer

A message from Robbie and Tommy Rioux, Maddie’s brothers:

On February 12th, Maddie’s 22nd birthday, she was admitted to Upstate Medical University after having headaches for a week. Subsequent surgeries and testing found and confirmed a Grade IV cancerous brain tumor.

Our family is so grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers over the last few weeks. It truly means the world knowing we have such a caring and supportive community around us. Many have reached out to see how they can help. The next step for Maddie is to travel to Duke Medical to remove as much of the tumor as possible before starting radiation and continuing cancer treatment. Now that there is a plan in place, we decided to set up a GoFundMe to alleviate the financial burden for our parents.

The donations from this GoFundMe will help our family offset the medical bills, travel expenses, and rehabilitation costs associated with Maddie’s road to recovery. We truly appreciate your support.
