Madeline Varian Appeal

Madeline Varian, a former IGS student, after care worker and Primary School prac-teacher has very recently been diagnosed with Leukaemia. Her parents have immediately left their lives and jobs in Singapore to return to Sydney to care for Maddie as she begins two years of treatment. Many of you will remember Maddie’s mother, Ann Maree Varian, who worked at IGS for many years, most recently at Reception. Maddie’s brother Sam, who graduated from IGS in 2014, has also returned to Sydney to support his family.

The sudden nature of the illness, the long treatment schedule and the upheaval in their lives has left the family facing financial pressure, so we would like to invite the community to come together to support the Varian family during this difficult time.
