It is with great sadness and a heavy heart we open this go fund me page.
In the early hours of New Year’s Day Gus Hayen tragically perished in a house fire in Monbulk Victoria.
Gus was a father, a partner, a son and a great friend to many. Gus became a father to a beautiful boy Saxon on the 18th of December 2020 and leaves behind his beautiful partner Maddie.
Gus was truly one of a kind and took life in both hands and made the best out of any situation, he loved to travel and devoted his time to maintaining friendships and nurturing his family.
Gus and his partner Maddie had only recently purchase and moved into their new family home whilst expecting Saxon.
On the night of the fire Maddie and Saxon were still in hospital when the fire took hold of their house and Gus was unable to escape.
We open this go fund me page in the hope we can secure enough funds to provide the family with the financial security they will need for the years to come.
Fundraiser has been set-up by Gus's High School and Long Term Friends.
We hope the funds raised will help Maddie and Saxon with anything they require to help in any way.
The Funds will be sent to a Susan Stuart (Maddie's Mum), nominated as the beneficiary.
