Madden-Halberstadt Award for Math

In loving memory of longtime Madison Elementary School teacher, David Halberstadt. We may have lost Dave, but we can continue to help "his kids" by funding the award he started and paid for out of his own pocket. Originally called the John Madden Award for Math, in memory of Dave's uncle, the award will continue as the Madden-Halberstadt Award for Math. The award goes to the top math student in 5th grade at Madison Elementary School in South Holland, Illinois, based on academic achievement tests and classroom performance. Dave devoted his life to the kids at Madison School, and we can continue his legacy by keeping his award alive. (NOTE: All funds raised will go to the Madden-Halberstadt Award! Thank you, everyone! The more donations received, the longer Dave's award will live.)
