Madcat’s Road to Recovery

As you know, Dan / A.K. A. Madcat has succumbed to some critical health issues. We are rallying behind Dan to help him with his ongoing medical expenses, home/moving expenses and as of late, auto repair/funds. Hopefully with our financial support, Dan can just focus on getting better and back to living life! He has a bit of a journey ahead:

Dan has been diagnosed with diverticulitis resulting in a massive, critical internal infection resulting in two surgeries that he has already had. He also will need an additional surgery to remove his appendix. After a lengthy hospital stay, Dan is currently healing at home on prescription medications, IV’s for nutrition intake, and drains for his infection. This stay-at-home healing requires professional home health care visits once a week. In addition, his truck broke down and needs to be fixed. He also needs to move at the end of June, as his place of residence is remodeling to condo’s and is not renewing leases. He needs to hire packing assistance, and find a new residence, requiring additional monies for down payments, etc.

Dan has been unable to work for a few months/ weeks and will not be able to work for quite some time. The funds will go directly to pay for prescription medicines, home health care, medical expenses for past and future surgeries, financial requirements for his move, and for fixing his car or for acquiring new transportation. Dan’s GoFundMe is under Staci Stephens name because of a pending insurance claim needing to prove no current income. Staci is Dan’s girlfriend, trusty health provider and main support! She will be the point person making sure that all funds go to Dan’s financial priorities.
