Mad Hatter Wellness had an amazing conference in February 2021 and we hope to create another educational and memorable conference in February 2022 with your support.
Our Heart of Relationships Conference raises awareness, educates around, and celebrates the intersection of disability and sexuality. Our conference is driven by the belief that all people have the right to safe and healthy relationships. People with disabilities are commonly denied access to healthy relationships & sexual health information and resources, often viewed as undeserving and unable, and denied agency in making decisions about their bodies. We strive to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their sexuality- including relationships with all people, boundaries, body & self image, love & affection, sexual orientation, and more! Our virtual conference will host 10+ educational and social events such as a keynote speaker, panel discussions, classes, community building events, and parent & professional workshops.
We recognize that the best solutions, services, and education come from experts with lived experience. All of our panelists and any keynote speakers will be people with disabilities and we will pay them well for their time and labor.
Most of the conference attendees will be people with disabilities. We want to keep the conference at a low cost and offer several full scholarships- we will never turn anyone away.
Here is where you come in! We need support in funding this awesome conference.
Here is how your money can support this conference:
$25- will sponsor one attendee for the entire conference
$50- will sponsor a family to attend the entire conference
$100- will sponsor a social event
$250- will pay for our panelists
Any donation $500+ will automatically make you a sponsor of this conference. Your logo will be on all materials and promotions.
$500- will pay for a workshop
$1000- will sponsor a keynote speaker
All donors will be invited to a virtual happy hour with the Mad Hatter Wellness team the week of the conference as a thank you for supporting us!
