Let me tell you about a guy named Mac Dawson.  Mac is a cool guy who lives in his bachelor pad home with his two adorable children (Sydney 6 and Miles 8) and their sweet pup Summer. Their house is full of JOY!  Any day you can find them dancing in the kitchen, going to the skate park or making roasted marshmallows on the stove… the list goes on. He’s a great dad and one of the best people you’ll ever meet. 

Early this summer, Mac was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer.  His treatment plan includes 4 months of chemotherapy, radiation treatments and finally surgery. Mac has been facing cancer with his charming smile and positive attitude. He still puts his kids above all else and likes to crack jokes about his cancer. He named it Brett… ask him why.

He always talks about the “little gifts” cancer has brought him; food from friends and family, cozy hats, and a girlfriend too! He is still working, and finding more difficulty with each treatment to keep up the pace. He is beginning to feel the strain financially.
