Hello, my name is Amber, and my children and I have been homeless for a year.

I never in a million years thought I would be creating a Gofundme, but I also never imagined being this desperate.

I work full-time. I have good credit, no criminal history, no evictions, and no bad habits like smoking, etc., but still, we're homeless and I haven't had a kitchen in over a year.

It has been impossible to find a place to live...until now. Someone finally said yes! And he's ready for me to sign the lease in two days, on November, 1st.

However, the program that was going to help me pay for the security deposit and first month's rent is being shut down, so they're no longer able to help.

My savings has been depleted due to health issues. My income is going to storage fees and gasoline to travel to other people's homes so I can use their internet for my job, as well as their kitchens to cook, and laundry to wash our clothes.

We are truly desperate for the stability that this home would provide, and I have the ability to pay for it moving forward to ensure we keep that stability. If this home doesn't happen the next step will be living in our van.
