I'm starting this GoFundMe for my older brother Macky Roland. Macky is 43 years old and was recently diagnosed with severe heart failure and colon cancer. We're starting this GoFundMe, hoping to raise money to assist Macky with his cost of living and medical bills as he faces the impossible task of fighting for his life. Any amount donated is appreciated more than you could imagine. Macky has worked in the service industry for over 20 years, and those who know him know he has the biggest heart of anyone you know. Macky is the most non-judgemental person I know, and he has always been willing to go above and beyond for those who seem to have no one else to turn to. As of right now, he has been diagnosed with severe heart failure and colon cancer. Without treatment/improvement, his heart failure precludes cancer treatment. We are hoping to raise enough money to pay for a PET scan which will allow us to know how advanced his colon cancer is and cover his cost of living during this difficult time.
