In February 2021 our friend and family member Darrel Mack was diagnosed with stg4 Esophageal cancer. The prognosis was not good, but being the fighter that he is, Darrel has used every tool available to heal his body and spirit. After the initial diagnosis, and after a fight to get the medical establishment to believe in his strength and fitness, the cancer board finally granted Darrel a chance at curative surgeries. This is not typical in a stage 4 patient, but he is a CHAMPION and we know that he will make it through stronger and better than ever. We have set up this Gofundme to help ease the financial burden of these surgeries, and help Mack on his healing journey. This will help with travel for his wife Leela and son Brandon, as well the alternative treatments he has been taking to complement the surgeries/chemotherapy and pay for the medical equipment that will be required in the home after surgery, as well as other unexpected costs.
