Macklin Needs Your Help!!

Macklin has been the balance in my life for the last five years. Recently, he was diagnosed with IVDD, and has since started to quickly deteriorate. We have tried pain management and confinement for rest, but his health has continued to decline. And today, I had to take him to the vet again because he was passing nothing but blood. This is one of the side effects of the medication they have him on. They pushed fluids to him and made it very clear to me that surgery is the only option to restore his health.

Any of you that know Macklin know that he is a ball of energy, a 75 pound lap dog, and the biggest softie cuddle bug ever. His weight has dropped to 65 pounds in less than 6 weeks, and he can barely leave his crate for food, water, and the bathroom. He is not the dog we all know and love. My world will crumble if we can’t save him.

I have pet insurance, which will cover a portion of the surgery, which was estimated at around $11,000. I have also reached out to a non profit and applied for a grant with them. If I am lucky enough to receive the grant, and funds collected here would go directly to FACE foundation.

Please help me save my baby. Losing him would absolutely crush me.
