On Friday, April 14th, the home of Tommy, Kimmy, and Lucy Mackie caught fire. It started because of the bathroom fan, and was caught fairly early, and because of that no one was hurt and the fire fighters got the dogs out in time. However, because of smoke and the water to put it out, a lot of their things are ruined.

Their homeowners insurance will be covering most of the damage, but right now they are displaced, staying at a familys house. At some point the insurance company will be moving them to an apartment, which may need to be furnished, and all of their furniture was ruined by the smoke.

All of their expenses because of this displacement will be reimbursed, but right now a little extra money to get them through until that time would be greatly appreciated, for food, clothes, and furniture until they reach a more permanent status of living.
