Mackey Family

Denise and Brian Mackey from Shohola, PA, are the proud parents of five great kids. Their oldest daughter Kalie, 24, currently lives in Japan. She teaches English to middle school students. In late January, Kalie began suffering seizures, and by early February was diagnosed with a stage 2 Glioma. She underwent surgery in mid February, and 80%-90% of the tumor was removed. She has just recently started radiation treatments this past week and will remain in the hospital for the next five weeks to finish them. When they are complete, newer scans will be done to see if chemotherapy will be needed at that point. Her mother flew out to Japan in February to be with Kalie and help her through this rough time, leaving her husband and three other children back at home. They have many expenses with just the travel to and from Japan, plus loss of work due to only one parent being at home to do the job of two. Please help to make the burden a little less, by helping if you can, and keeping them in your prayers!
