Honouring Mackenzie Thomas

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mackenzie Thomas, a much-loved 17-year-old son and brother, who sadly lost his battle with epilepsy.

Mackenzie was a bright, kind, and gentle young man whose smile could light up a room. Despite the challenges he faced living with epilepsy, he met life with courage, resilience, and quiet strength well beyond his years. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his loss has left an unimaginable hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

Mackenzie leaves behind his devoted parents, Craig and Mel, and his younger brothers, Harrison and Eli, who adored him and looked up to him every day. As a family, they are now facing not only the heartbreak of losing their beautiful boy, but also the unexpected financial burden that comes with arranging a funeral and celebrating Mackenzie’s life in a way that truly honours who he was.

We have created this GoFundMe to help support Craig, Mel, Harrison, and Eli during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly towards funeral and memorial expenses, allowing the family to focus on grieving, healing, and being together without the added stress of financial pressure.
