Hi everyone, my name is Emma Thomas.

I’m reaching out on behalf of Mackenzie Stirling, my niece, the sole survivor of the unexpected explosion at Endeavor Mine in Cobar on Tuesday, 28th October.

While now recovering at home, Mackenzie has sustained hearing damage and continues to struggle with the traumatic events of that day. She faces a long road to recovery and, on top of that, the financial strain of covering day to day expenses and also to assist her mother in caring for her whiles she is unable to return to work .

Any donation—big or small—will go directly to Amanda Thomas her mother to help Mackenzie with ongoing upfront medical expenses and everyday living expenses as she seeks the care and support she needs.

This fundraiser is one of the few ways we can help ease her burden and allow her to focus on healing.
