Hi. My name is Lauren and I am a mother to a beautiful daughter who was born sleeping on April 6, 2021.

On April 5th, 2021 my husband and I found out our baby had no heartbeat at 39 weeks, it was at this moment we also found out we were having a baby girl. Few hours later, we found out I had a rare form of preeclampsia called HELLP syndrome. My own health and life were at risk. I was very sick.

Early morning on April 6th, I had delivered our sweet baby girl, Mackenzie. She was our first child. My delivery was very traumatic with complications (long story). But my own health thankfully quickly recovered.

We would like to raise funds to sponsor a park bench in our town for Mackenzie and all the babies gone too soon. Far too many women and families have experienced fertility issues, miscarriages, stillbirths, and the loss of a child. We are hoping with this bench, people can have a space to heal, remember, and come together.
