Mackenzie Borchers....Not just a 9 year old girl, but a Daughter, a Cousin, a Niece, a Granddaughter, a God Child, a Friend an Angel. Mackenzie has undergone numerous open heart surgeries throughout her life, and has been a fighter until she could not fight no more. She was born with a congenital heart defect that slowed the normal blood flow throughout the heart. You would never know she had a heart defect as she had plenty of love from her heart to share. What little bit of a heart she had in her body, she always was willing to give a piece of it away to each and every person she ever crossed paths with. As she came into this world she put smiles on faces of everyone she met making new friends from schoolmates, to the Doctors and Nurses who treated her. Not as a patient, but as a family that she easily became a part of. The out pouring of love and support for Mackenzie was obvious from day one till the day the Lord called her home. She was a Loving, beautiful little girl that could light up a room brighter than any light bulb could ever. Mackenzie has now passed the torch to all she knew, leaving us all with a broken heart of our own. We won't fight the fight you did Mackenzie, as our hearts are broken and our lives will never be the same without you.
For all who know her Mom Tracy, there is nothing to explain. Tracy came into this world a little girl and has grown to be one of the strongest willed women anyone would ever meet. Knowing Tracy, and the things that you or I would call sacrifices, was no sacrifice at all to Tracy. If i asked you to walk in her shoes, she would have to give the ones off her feet and walk barefoot because they were meaningless. A woman that never ask, but gives, and gave till she couldn't give no more, and then she still finds a way to give, to move forward, to be strong willed.
So at this most difficult time, Please help this family in Remembrance of Mackenzie by making a donation to lay this little girl to rest. Please keep her and her family in your prayers and cherish the memories and the little piece of heart that Mackenzie gave each and every one of you when she had none to give. Any amount would be welcome and appreciated. Please let's help this ray of sunshine who brighten all our lives rest in peace.
