Mack Travel Across the Pond to Ironman Worlds

Hello! My name is Mackenzie and I'm trying to raise money for the 2024 Ironman World Championship in Nice, France. Growing up, I had the privilege of seeing both my father and uncle compete in numerous Ironman races, and with each race, I grew more and more eager to compete in one myself. I competed in my first half Ironman in July 2022, and then my first full this September of 2023. Since I started my training, it has been a goal of mine to qualify for Ironman World Championship, and to my surprise, I had achieved that after Ironman Chattanooga, my first full race.

As I mentioned prior, my father and uncle have been my prime motivation to get into the Ironman world, and with their support and my hard work, I have been able to quickly achieve great things. They will never understand the role they have played for me throughout my life, especially during this journey, so I am not only competing for myself, but for the both of them. It is with high hopes that I become a role model for other people whose goals seem almost impossible, the same way they have for me.

The funds I raise will be used to pay for a multitude of things, ranging from race registration fees, training, travel, equipment, and lodging. A part of the funds will also be donated to the Ironman Foundation. Any donation would be greatly appreciated because it is with the help of everyone that I will be able to a goal that at one time, seemed so far out of my reach.
