Hello friends, family, and other amazing humans currently reading!
I would love for you to take the time to read this and hopefully get a clear understanding of why i'm creating a gofundme.
I have reached out to you today with hopes of receiving help to share my love of Jesus across the world in Beirut, Lebanon. Growing up in a christian household I have always known a man named Jesus but it wasn't until I was 19 years old that I formed an intimate relationship with Jesus personally. Most people can relate to the fact that a persons teenage years are filled with confusion, loss, excitement, exploration, and uncertainty; mine was no out of the ordinary circumstance either. But, in my senior year of High School, one of my best friends handed me a book called "Soul Cravings" written by an amazing man, Erwin Mcmanus." He is the lead pastor of a church in Hollywood called Mosaic, and because my passion of dance drove me to the big city of Los Angeles, I immediately attended the church. I have attended for a little over a year now, and Mosaic and the community of people continue to shine Gods love so bright everywhere we walk. I have given the blessing of teaching the three year olds at mosaic and it is amazing to watch the love of God radiate so brightly from a little kids heart. Mosaic has a strong passion for refugee families and mission trips and I have been given the amazing opportunity to go to Lebanon for the month of July. In lebanon we as mosaic and followers of Jesus are setting up a childrens camp filled with creativity, art, dance, film, music, and most importantly we as children of God have been given the opportunity to share Gods love and tell them who a man named Jesus is and why he loves each and everyone of them so much. The camp ranges from kids ages 5 to 15 and the amount of love each kid could experience might just change their lives forever.
It is a hard thing asking for financial help whether it be in person or via social media, and though I am usually reluctant asking for money, I strongly believe in what god is calling me and the mosaic church to be doing. I ask you to please be generous for this is a mission trip I believe God has called me.
Isaiah 6:8
Then i heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here I am. Send me!"
