Hi! My name is Maci. Two years ago in the spring of 2020 I was diagnosed with Crohns disease. It is a chronic illness that is life long and affects the stomach, both intestines and the colon. It also caused me to lose a lot of weight. I went from 120 to 87 pounds in a month. However I started taking medication which worked for a while and I gained all my weight back and was normal but in the summer of 2021 I had a very bad flare up which caused me to lose weight again. It has gotten to the point where I am now in the hospital because they had to remove my colon. Things are starting to look better, it will be a long journey to get to where I used to be. I am so thankful to have so many friends and family around to help me through recovery. I especially thankful for my wonderful fiance who has never left my side. I know I have people praying for me too and for that I am grateful.

The money that will be raised will go towards medical bills and travel expenses. The hospital that I will need to continue to go to after my surgery for checkups is 6 hours one away. Anything that can be given will be greatly appreciated.
