Please help me save my pug Macey. This morning when we woke up Macey did not seem her normal self. She kept whining and the kids and I noticed she was bleeding from her private parts. We immediately took her to the vet and was devasted when we heard the news. She was diagnosed with Pyometra. They told me without the surgery she won't last but only a few days. Pyometra is an infection in the Uterus. It's considered a serious and life threatning condition that must be treated quickly and aggressively. They told me the cost and I told them I couldn't afford it being a single mom. They gave me some meds but said it would just keep her alive maybe for a few days. Due to my financial situation I can't even get credit with any pet financial places. My heart is just broken knowing I don't have the funds to save my baby.
I am starting this page in hopes of any help I can get. The money would be strictly apllied to macey's Surgery. This morning I paid $475.50 for xrays and blood tests. Then it cost $257.50 for more tests. The surgery itself is $1,848.50. That totals out to $2581.50. They said once they do the surgery she might need more meds and so I was quoted possibly up to $2900.00. UPDATE: Please read below. I have had to raise the page to $4000.00
UPDATE ON MACEY. She is in surgery as I am posting. She was bleeding to much and it was urgent she had it done now. I had to borrow the money as they would not do the surgery without full payment. They just called and found a mass on her spleen. Her spleen needs to be removed however it is too much trauma for her right now and so they will remove it when she is better which will be another big cost. Please pray for her and keep sharing my gofundme page. I just pray I can raise all the costs. I am so thankful for all the support we are getting.

Macey means the world to me and my two kids. She has a lot of history with our family. We bought her as a therapy dog for my son who had Selective Mutism. We got her at 12 weeks old and when she arrived from Pet Ex and her eye seemed swollen. We took her to the vet and they said her eye was so infected it needed to be removed ASAP or it would explode. As devastated as I was, I knew I had to do it because my son had already bonded with her. She recouped very well. A few months ago we had another emergency when she swallowed a pet treat and it was lodged in her throat. I took her to the vet and they said she was going fast. That had to be surgically removed.
This dog means the world to our family and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help us out.
