Hi my name is Erin and Macey is my beautiful, vibrant niece.

Last week while undergoing a brain scan to confirm a diagnosis of cerebral palsy a large tumour deep inside her brain was detected. She was immediately admitted to John Hunter Children's hospital in Newcastle, where she will have surgery in the next week. As a family we are beside ourselves, Macey being the youngest of the cousins/grandchildren on her father's side she certainly makes her presence known! Everyone who meets her is an instant friend. Watching the pain her parents are going through is a pain I wish upon no one. We would like to make life a little less stressful by helping to ease the financial burden of an emergency like this, so her parents can be by her side throughout the healing process instead of having to go to work or worry about how to pay the rent and other costs associated with this condition. It's going to be a long 18mth road to recovery but Macey is in good spirits and keeping everyone entertained. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
