Macey Hazel - Cardiomyopathy Survivor
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alan Owen I suffered a cardiac arrest in 2022 whilst playing walking football at Caldicot Leisure Centre. I was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. One of my football colleagues Bill Nicholson helped me that day and has continued to help with my recovery.
His granddaughter is 5 years old and was been diagnosed with the same condition (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) at 6 months old. From around 12 months she developed hypoxemia (low blood sugar) which is extremely dangerous. She has severe constipation.
She cannot run, jump or skip like the other children and cannot do the things normal 5 year old children can do. She would love to see Disney on Ice to see Queen Elsa in real life and to visit Disneyland.
We are raising funds to help her and the family and have organised a Charity Walking Football Tournament on the 27th October at 11am at Stadiwm LPH Stadium the home of Carmarthen Town Football Club. Teams from the UK are attending this event and you can help by donating today.
Please help Macey and her family if you can.
