We are Macedonian Folk Ensemble Ilinden, a passionate group of dancers dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Macedonian folklore. Since 1983, our non-profit organization has been based out of St. Ilija Macedonian Orthodox Church in Mississauga, Ontario. For over four decades, we've brought the beauty of our culture to audiences across North America and beyond. Now, we have the incredible opportunity to represent Canada and Macedonia at an international dance competition in Spain!

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our young dancers, but we need your support to make it happen.

Why We Need Your Help

As a non-profit cultural group, we rely on community support to fund our performances and travel expenses. The costs associated with this trip including flights, accommodations, meals, and transportation are substantial. We want to ensure that every dancer has the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances.
