Hello, My name is Brenden Fields - I am 17 years old, born in Orange County, CA and a member of Bnai Israel Synagogue.   I am ecstatic and honored to have been selected to represent the United States and the Jewish Community in the 2022 Maccabi Games in Israel on the 18u Men’s Ice Hockey Team.

The Maccabi Olympic Games is a once every 4 year event , that was sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee, and is the 3rd largest sporting event in the world. 

Growing up as a Jewish boy, I have very much enjoyed learning about Jewish heritage, history, traditions, and beliefs.

I have always wanted to travel to Israel and experience being among Jewish people within a whole country, and playing my favorite sport of ice hockey against other Jewish teams from around the world.  I have worked tirelessly in order to compete at the highest levels in my sport , and consider this a great honor and accomplishment. With your help, I will be able to make this dream a  reality.

 

For this reason, I am asking friends, family, and the Jewish Community to help me raise enough funds to cover the costs of this once in a lifetime opportunity.  Any amount of help is greatly appreciated, and all donations will go to Maccabi USA towards  the entry/program fees.   Thank you so much for your support!
