Macaulay Deewane Competition Fundraiser

Hello! Macaulay Deewane is New York City’s premier co-ed Bollywood-Fusion dance team. Founded at the CUNY Macaulay Honors College in 2015, we started off as a group of students who shared a common passion and love for dance. Now coming up to 10 years as a team, we have managed to win multiple competitions, take home numerous trophies, and create incredible memories with our Deewane family.

 

As a competitive dance team, we compete in the Desi Dance Network (DDN) circuit alongside other teams from colleges all around the country. After months of dedication, training, and countless hours perfecting our set, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in three competitions in the spring!

 

However, having a successful competition requires more than just our set. Our team’s funding must cover costs such as stage props, costumes, application fees, registration fees, and travel cost.
