Uncle Mac's Battle against Cancer

Alooooha everyone! Our names are Lot and Neelam. We are starting this Gofund Me account on behalf of our family and friends for our Beloved Uncle Rodney a.k.a Mac.  If you know Uncle, you know him as the big humble Mr. Aloha always smiling, laughing,  helping anyone, and volunteering as much as he can... you would see him driving the Vans at New Hope Sand Island.  He is the EPITOME of "giving the shirt of his back" kind of guy.  

Then one day Uncle couldn't hold down anything he ate or drank. This worried us because he LOVES to eat and knows all the best spots to go. Well after so many tests and trips in and out of the hospital, sadly Uncle was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer January 2018. As many with cancer and illnesses his cancer has affected his liver, immune system, and has spread to his brain forming a tumor. Uncle has been going through Chemotherapy and as of right now he is in remission. Because of that his Doctors are rushing to send him to the mainland now more than ever to get a bone marrow transplant. 

Unfortunately because of his situation Uncle Mac has been out of work @ Angel Charities and his TDI is soon to run out and will need help covering expenses while he is continuing treatment on the mainland. 

We know we all have families, bills, and life to take care of, that is why Our Ohana appreciates any donation you can contribute to help Uncle cover expenses while he is on the mainland for 3 months.  

We all ask you for your prayers as we vigilantly pray for him.  Once again we Thank you for taking the time to read Uncle Mac's story, and to all those who have reached out with prayers, hospital visits, and word of encouragement while we stand hand in hand with Uncle Mac in how battle with cancer.
