Mac McLean Memorial Fundraiser

Mom, Colleen and I are raising money for Made New Makerspace in honor of Dad as we head to Omaha to close down his hanger and find new homes for his tools and equipment.

Dad not only had a love for aviation and learning new skills, but he had a passion for teaching - especially teaching the younger generation how to fix, create and develop skills that would enhance their lives. As I started to research non-profits in Omaha that may benefit from the material legacy that Dad left behind, I found this fantastic organization. The mission of Made New Makerspace is to prepare and foster underrepresented youth of Omaha for successful lives as adults through caring mentors in an environment that promotes learning, collaboration, and creation.

As this organization grows and serves the youth in the Omaha area, we would like to raise $3,000 to help Made New Makerspace to purchase new equipment and items for their new location. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps.

Dad would have celebrated his 75th birthday on March 17th. I can't think of a better way to wish him a happy heavenly birthday as we honor him on earth by contributing to this worthy cause.
