As you may already know, me and Grace adopted little Mabel a few months ago from HRN. At the time, she had what we all believed was a congenital splayed leg - something that wasn't thought to bother her. When we adopted her, she went to see our lovely vet who, upon collecting images of her pelvis, found that she had a dislocated leg and was likely living in pain.

Flash forward to 2 weeks ago - Mabel got this leg amputated. Yesterday, when we were snuggling, we noticed her incision was oozing.... and, to spare you the details, she needed urgent care. Angell came to her rescue - and found an infection in her thigh. They have quoted us around 4k to hospitalize her and rid her of this infection - and in the worst case, re-suture her wound. We aren't sure what exactly will happen - but we know she is in the best hands and she is giving a fighting chance - she has conquered everything life has thrown at her <3

We are coming on here to hopefully raise some of the funds needed to help her through this. Her amputation was done at VCA Wakefield and her recovery care is at Angell. We miss her!
