Help Mabel rebuild and restore hope after a devastating fire

Two days before Christmas, on December 23, 2024, Mabel Welsch lost her house to a fire in Rensselaerville, NY. This was more than a house; it was a home that Mabel grew up in and had returned to live in for the past 20+ years. Mabel is a selfless, kind, loving, and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She has many pets that she takes care of and considers part of her family. Unfortunately, Mabel lost her kitty, Clover, after attempts to save her life at the vet, but the injuries sustained proved to be too much. Her other cat, Kenny, has been missing since.

Mabel could not get insurance on her house because the insurance companies would not insure her with a wood stove in the house. The reason her house burned down was that the pipes froze, and when trying to warm the pipes, a fire started. The rising costs of a brutal economy have taken their toll on so many people that I love. Please find it in your heart to help this beautiful woman that I would have no problem calling my Mom.
