Mabel fundraiser.

Hi my name is Mabel and I am fundraising for me. I know it sounds selfish but I am about to loose the last thing I owed and for me is a necessity, and that is my car.

In the pass 2 years I have lost everything due to illness. I was diagnosed with heart failure in the middle of the pandemic. That was tough since no one was able to help me . I got better and I was able to go back to work. My work was in a restaurant as a manager , that is all I have done for the pass 35years. At that time I had a dog and a good friend but my dog pass not long after I got sick and my best friend got a new job and move away. I found a place to live and things were looking up but I started to have more problems with my heart so last year, on June 15, 2022 I had an open heart surgery that it exacerbate my lymphedema due to cervical cancer treatment done that left both of my lower limbs and lower back very swollen, to the point that walking, standing, sitting, kneeling and normal life is impossible for me. I am grateful that a friend had an empty room in her house and have let me stay for awhile until I get things straight. The only thing I have left is my car, that I have a monthly payment and that is why I am asking for your help. If I lose my car I can't do anything as the public transportation is too far for me to walk to and for me to get on the bus is not possible because of my lymphedema. My car is my life line to be able to go for Dr appointment, groceries and to do day to day life.

I am not used to ask for anything I have always work, never ask for help in my life. I always rather give the help than ask for it, but I am in a point that I am doing what I can and I need a little bit of help.
