Update- the girls are confirmed to be illegally imported from Bulgaria. The vet and trading standard have been to the door and informed us that both girls now have to be put into a government quarantine site which is down chesterfield. The cost of this is going to be £2900 for 21 days for them both. But before going down they also need a rabies vaccine which is going to cost £250 which is planned tomorrow. If the girls aren’t quarantined they can be removed and forced into kennels where they may later be put to sleep which we obviously don’t want. Please help save these girls!

These 2 beautiful golden retrievers were left dumped and abandoned in Sunderland with no collars, no leads, no food no nothing!

Myself and my partner have took these 2 gorgeous girls in and gave a loving home and somewhere where they can be safe.

Today we have took them both to the vets to get them checked out and we found they both had microchips however were not registered and later found that they have been illegaly imported from Bulgaria for breeding purposes.

Once checked at the vets Harper the older one we think has arthritis but other than that is fine

However the younger golden Mabel has unfortunately been diagnosed with stage 3 heart murmur which could potentially be fatal for her.

We need a ultrasound scan to confirm the severity of the heart murmur and how long this little lady has left. The ultrasound scan will cost £1000 which were trying to raise funds to cover as at present i am not classed as there owners but just looking after these amazing girls.

We would appreciate any help what so ever to help save these little girls.
