Help for Laura

Please take a moment and read my story I really need your support. My name Leroy Welch and my baby girl (Laura) whos very dear to me was hurt really badly. I am doing all that I can to help her, however my resources are limited. I am reaching out as a father, please help me help me help my daughter.  Anything you can give will help and if you cant give you can help by sharing this.  My daughter is a very a special young woman to me.  She is a loving mother of  two amazing teen boys.

She is extremely hard working, even working weekends to make ends meet, all while finishing her degree as well. she has always been outgoing loves the out doors and camping.  All of that changed December 7 when she was brutally attacked and beaten unconscious by a stranger the attacker assaulted her the specifics are of a sensitive and private nature.  But what I can say is she was found by an officer and taken via ambulance to the ER and underwent numerous tests and exams.  She was so badly beaten that her face jaw was swollen shut, she was bleeding from the ear, face, and nose.  She under went a CT and multiple x-rays. 




This really has only been the beginning for her. The healing process has been strenuous, even devastating at times. She's had multiple MRI's and office visits with spine specialists and as well as therapy she's experiencing ptsd from the severity of the assault .  She's undergone Outpatient medical procedures to try to repair the nerve damage and ease the extreme pain.  Its now been weeks she still unable to go to back to work.  we are now meeting with new specialists to address the nerve damage to her face and the injuries to her neck spine and shoulder as well.    The Co pay and patient liable portions of the medical expenses are adding up and she is lost at to how to continue to afford to be able to go to her treatments and take of her boys.  Her family is everything to her.  It hurts and destroys me as father to know that someone could do this just take her light and damage her life as she knew it for no reason, to just flip her world upside down. I'm hoping for those able to help to have a compassion and help this loving mother who has helped so many others with out thought.  My daughter has such a big heart and struggles to feed her boys and take care of the daily living as a dad I cant bare to hear her cry over not being able to afford to get to the appointments due to gas or stressing over the copays for treatments that i wish she didn't need in the first place.  She is just so lost and the medical bills on top of the everyday needs are piling up and the continued care feels impossible.  Please look into your heart even if just 5 dollars or a share on your page to help her keep things stable at home while she cant return to work.   I hate to see her stress over not being able to work and trying to find the means to take care of the boys and her medical needs.   If we could possibly get her some help with the out of pocket portion of the medical that have already allot. I just hope we can please please come together and help her , she isn't one to put her self first which is why I'm reaching out to plead for help as a parent I cant just sit by.  This kind of thing should never have to happen to a woman, but to see the financial stress and reminder burden her and reminder is just too much for me as a father.
