My name is Hunter and I have had Oliver for about 4 years. I adopted him from a family member that passed when he was under the age of 2. Oliver had occasional seizures that were not very serious and has seen many emergency vets when they happened but until this most recent episode of cluster seizures they were under control. Since this last episode of seizures he was put onto phenobarbital and it was working great. Until he started having strange symptoms and I rushed him to the emergency vet once again where he was diagnosed with early stages of IVDD. At this time we are trying to treat with conservative management but he needs physical therapy and there’s a good chance he’s going to see a neurologist and need a MRI/ possibly surgery. I have spent thousands on vet visits for him. This last month alone has been over 1,000 of emergency treatment. All funds will go towards Ollie’s current and future medical care.
