Palo Alto Rowing Club (PARC) is an organization that is having an amazing impact on high school kids. Rowing is unique compared to any other sport. Kids learn valuable lessons about discipline, hard work, perseverance, and determination, in addition to building lifelong friendships. Our club welcomes all levels of participation. For some, this is the first time they've been in a sport. Many graduating rowers have gone on to row in college and beyond.
We are a non-profit 501c3, and as such, we do outreach programs with disadvantaged youths during summer months, and work a yearly toy drive. Our parents and community members provide hundred of hours of volunteer support, we are fundraising to purchase much needed equipment for our club, and to fund our scholarship students.
On Saturday morning, April 23, 2016, come watch us as we erg (row on land) in groups of ten for 1 hour each. We will be at the Port of Redwood City erging our hearts out from 8a.m. until 12:30pm.
Please support PARC by making a donation!
