Help for Stanley after a Horrific Motocycle Crash

Sometimes the strongest people are the ones that need the most help. Hiding behind the biggest smile and always asking how YOU are doing. You never know what someone is dealing with. This was the case with Lady S. We frequent a restaurant in the Sosua/Cabarete area in The Dominican Republic. We asked one of our waitresses, Lady S how she was doing and to our shock she broke down crying. 

It turns out her son Stanley who is 24 years old was in a horrible hit and run motorcycle accident coming home from work on May 25, 2021. Lady S never missed a day of work through the past four months as she needed money to pay for medical bills. She never said a word about the accident as she did not want to bother people. 

We are hoping to raise $4,000 Canadian to cover the medical bills so Stanley can have an operation to fix his arm, eye and his left leg that has nerve damage from the last operation. Lady S already borrowed money from family and friends to have his legs operated on which totals to $2,000 Canadian. 

She has no idea how she is going to pay this back. Stanley’s wife left him right after the accident and said “I am not looking after a cripple” She also left two young daughters. We really want to help Stanley get back on his feet. 

We have have so many photos of X-rays, photos of Stanley after the accident. It really breaks our heart seeing him like this. He had a really bad stroke of luck. Having his wife leave him alone like this to raise two daughters on his own being in this state was the icing on the cake. 

Can you help Stanley so he can get his operation so he can raise his daughters who he loves so much?  Any amount will help and be appreciated. Any extra that is raised beyond $4,000 Canadian will go towards the previous medical bills that Lady S still owes.
