Hi, my name is Samantha although most folk know me as Big Bird!

The little guys in the photos are Fred & Flo, my adorable, fun loving, 8 month old Labrador pups.

After a particularly difficult time, Fred & Flo who are Brother & Sister, have given me a reason to get up and out of the house.

Sadly Freddie as he is affectionately known, has a condition known as Hip Dysplasia in both hind legs. His right leg requiring immediate attention. He is very young for this to have manifested and is currently on medication. Due to his young age, medication will have an impact on his vital organs, shortening his life.

Basically his only hope is an operation to remove part of his Femur and rebuild the socket/joint. The cost of this I am advised is approximately £2000-£2500, money I simply do not have.

As you can see from the photos Fred & Flo are extremely close and bring such joy to me and everyone they meet.

Please help me reach the target so Freddie can live the long, healthy, pain free life he deserves.
