beep...beep...Emma needs a Minivan

Meet Emma...an adventurous 4 year old with Type 1 Spinal Muscular Atrophy. 

Emma has  become an expert power wheelchair driver! She loves to explore  our neighborhood, looking for dinosaurs, birds nests and sticks.  She prefers only to be at full "rabbit" speed.... don't you dare turn her down to the slower "turtle" option. 

We hadn't planned on purchasing an accessible van for Emma until she started school in 2022, however our paths have crossed with a family that no longer needs their 2014 Toyota Sienna.  It is fully accessible with a power center ramp and ready for a kid like Emma!  

As Emma gets older her need for independence is changing.  She is growing so strong....and heavier!  We can't wait for her to use her power wheelchair more and give her the freedom she deserves.
