Liam Melicharek is 9 years old. He went into the hospital on 1/6/26 because he wasn't feeling good. He had leg/hip pains and was lethargic. When they started running tests, and it was quickly realized that his red and white blood cells, platelets, and hemoglobin were very low. He was transfered down to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where they began blood transfusions. On 1/9 he had a bone marrow biopsy done. On 1/10 it has been confirmed he has Leukemia. Him and his mom are in good spirits but this is such a sensitive time for their family. On 1/11 or 1/12 they will be putting in a port and doing a spinal tap to start his chemotherapy. This little boy has a long road ahead of him. We are raising money so mom can continue to be by his side and help with medical bills as they rack up fast. Liam also has siblings at home that need to be taken care of. I will update his progress as it comes. Thank you all for any and all help. It means the world to the family.
