Support Jess Through Her Cancer Battle

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm fundraising for my friend Jess and her daughter Ella.

This past summer Jess was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 3, breast cancer. In September, she had her first mastectomy and lymph node surgery. Next year she will undergo another mastectomy. On top of this news, she also learned that she has gene LFS (Li-Fraumeni Syndrome), a rare hereditary disorder that increases the risk of her and family members developing cancer. This means that she will always be at risk of developing a form of cancer and will need routine bodily scans, which means frequent hospital appointments.

Receiving any news of this sort is difficult, but for Jess, it's been even more troubling as she is a single mom to her daughter Ella. I would love for her to be able to focus solely on healing and mothering, without worrying about the small stuff. The money raised will help Jess pay for her cost of life and essentials, while she undergoes chemo and the future of her health journey.
