Angie's Storehouse
Family and Friends,
A few years ago during a reception at which my father was being honored, I recall him saying words that are forever etched in my spirit: "Tonight, when I'm counting my blessings, I'll be sure to count each of you twice."
Those words reside in my heart as proof that through our words and deeds, we can impact the lives of others. I write to you today, asking for your help for a dear friend of mine - Angelique Presley.
Like millions of women around the globe, Angelique is battling cancer. Who among us has not been affected in some way by this disease? My mother, Valroria Denise Hall took her last breath in my home on April 2, 2008. She transitioned without worry, or burden for not only was she supported emotionally, but also financially. In addition to the obvious physical stresses cancer imposes on its victims, it brings with it financial hardship and uncertainty about day-to-day expenses.
Angelique has not been able to work for the last two months. Although she is undergoing treatment regularly, a timetable for her return to work has yet to be determined. We simply don't know when or even if she will be able to work again. As a single parent of two, she has limited resources. Angelique has exhausted all of her paid vacation and is at a point of need the likes of which many of us have never known. I need your help.
My goal is to raise $10,000 to sustain her and her children for the next 3-4 months. There is no donation too small; we are happy to receive whatever you offer. If you're like me, you have everything you could possibly need and a few things you don't. If you can relate, this is a wonderful opportunity to fill the gap for someone else.
On behalf of Angelique, her son Camden and her daughter Carrington, I thank you.
In Service,
Harman M. Hall
