Pay for medical bills

Hello Friends,

For those that don’t know me, I’m Sophia Elise Ivarra. I’m writing this with the hope that you might help me help my mother, Victoria. My mom is my hero for several reasons. Not only has she loved and cared for me my entire life, but she has been my sole provider, both mother and father. She always puts others first and is also taking care of my grandfather. She’s done all this while working multiple jobs, despite having serious medical conditions for most of her adult life.

Victoria is now 51 and was diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome at 27, then Lupus at 38. The combination of these diseases caused kidney failure at age 45. Unfortunately, the disease has advanced and she is now in Stage 4 Renal failure, with her kidney function at 11% and dropping rapidly.

Fortunately, the doctors have a plan. A fistula was placed in her arm to support the Dialysis treatments she will need for the next 6-12 months. These treatments will keep her alive and make her ready for a kidney transplant. We are very grateful that several friends and family have already agreed to be tested as potential kidney donors for my mom.

My mom plans to continue working, but that won’t be enough to cover medical bills, which we expect to be $20,000 over what insurance pays in the coming year to 18 months. Please help me raise funds for the life saving treatment my mom needs and deserves. Anything you can contribute is a huge blessing for our family.
