Fighting the Big C

Hi…, my name is Christian De La Cruz, and I have been recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). This cancer is called Acute because it will suddenly appear in your body without any symptoms and tear your world upside down. My dream job of joining the NYPD since last year is now on hold because this is now my biggest fight- CANCER!!! I am currently going through intensive chemotherapy to try and get my body into remission. I understand I have a long road ahead of me, but I am very grateful for all the love and support my family and friends have shown me in the past few weeks. Because this will be a long journey, a fight I promise NEVER to give up, I know my medical expenses will be costly, so I hope you can all help by donating to my page. Hola…, mi nombre es Christian De La Cruz, y recientemente me diagnosticaron leucemia mieloide aguda (LMA). Este cáncer se llama Agudo porque aparecerá repentinamente en su cuerpo sin ningún síntoma y desgarrará su mundo. El trabajo de mis sueños de unirme a la policía de Nueva York desde el año pasado ahora está en suspenso porque esta es ahora mi mayor lucha: ¡EL CÁNCER! Actualmente estoy pasando por quimioterapia intensiva para intentar que mi cuerpo entre en remisión. Entiendo que tengo un largo camino por delante, pero estoy muy agradecido por todo el amor y el apoyo que mi familia y amigos me han mostrado en las últimas semanas. Porque este será un largo viaje, una lucha que prometo NUNCA rendirme, sé que mis gastos médicos serán costosos, así que espero que todos puedan ayudar donando a mi página.
